Here, reference is made only to the new, 3rd edition.

This third edition is available only as a PDF. This makes it possible to include all the maps. If it were published as a book, the printing costs alone would have amounted to about €250 per copy. In addition, this format allows users to utilize the search function and interactively navigate the pages, making it possible to use them as a list of missing items or an inventory.

The PDF files are bilingual (UK English/German). The handbook and catalog together comprise approximately 1,400 pages.

The DVD contains the “German Empire” region, divided into 4 volumes, namely

A   Introduction: Everything about the view cards of the German Empire, including an overview of print runs

B   The editions "Rhineland", "Imperila Eagle", "Important Germans" and "Reichpresident Ebert" 

C   The editions "Hindenburg" and "Hitler"

D   The editions Bohemia & Moravia, and Danzig, as well as interesting facts and lists

The DVD contains all the files as well as the license to use them on a computer, tablet, or other electronic device. Sharing them is prohibited by copyright law.
